We've remodeled our home this summer, and with that, we've decided to start implementing more smart home technologies. We are deeply immersed in the Apple ecosystem, as well as concerned about privacy and security, so naturally HomeKit is the obvious choice for us. On Saturday, I replaced my Ring ringtone with the Logitech Circle View ringtone. So far I have been extremely disappointed. I would say that 90% of the time my ringtone appears in the Home application as "No Answer". I have NEVER had a problem with my Ring bell, this is very frustrating. I'm not in direct sunlight (which seems absurd, given that I've never heard of a Ring or Nest Texas heat user mentioning this) and my wifi connection is very strong, along with the distance from the ringer to the router being less than ten feet. As an Apple user, I'm used to saying "it works," but this Apple-approved product feels anything but Apple. I definitely don't want to be stuck with this ringtone after the 14 day return period. I would love to know if others have tried this sound and eventually given it up because of the same issues or if there is something I just miss. Thanks!
