My Logi Circle 2 died and I replaced it with a View Circle. I had a homekit automation using my Circle 2 occupancy sensor. It was a sensor that became available with the Circle 2 HKSV firmware update in March. With my new Circle View, I only see motion and light sensors, while Circle 2 had motion, light and occupancy sensors. Does anyone else have an occupant with Circle View or was I lucky?
I used the occupancy sensor for automation to turn on a nearby light. I got tired of automation using the motion sensor, but every time the light went out it detected motion and I turned on the light again. The occupancy sensor didn't have this problem because I think it used IR.
