Logitech Doorbell automation for sound playback on Sonos speakers: weird, sticking to one of my Apple TVs

Cupertino, April 12, 2021

I have problems with my bell ringing at my mechanical bells (they will play, but the bell will stay permanently offline until I take it off the stand for about 10-15 minutes). So while working with Logi on that puzzle (if you have any ideas, lmk!), I use HK automation to play a doorbell on one of my Sonos speakers. It works great .... EXCEPT for some weird reason, it plays on the targeted Sonos speaker AND on one of my two Apple TVs. It's always the same (why that one?) And it happens even if the Apple TV is asleep. This leaves the Sonos speaker and Apple TV grouped, and the sound output from the Apple TV switched to this Airplay group instead of going to the TV (and the sound bar connected there). Do you have any thoughts on why this might happen?
