So ... I jumped on the HKSV cart and needed a video to be able to tell when home deliveries were made. I've always had pretty good success with Logitech products (keyboards, mice, remotes), so I thought I'd try the ringtone. I installed the ringtone on Friday and never received notifications for the packages delivered. I read that movement and areas of activity are completely separate and that seems to be my problem. Is it possible to receive movement notifications only in a certain area anyway? My problem with the bell is that there is a palm in sight and it always triggers the movement, so I changed my settings to record only animals, people and vehicles. Well, for all 3 of my deliveries, the driver never had a full view of the camera, just an arm or maybe just the package. My front door is facing east, the existing bell was south, so I used the angled mounting bracket, do I need to find a way to tilt it more? Or is there a magic combination of settings to receive motion notifications in a certain area?
