I've been a HomeKit user for a few years, but I've always stuck with Hue when it comes to my lighting. Typically controlled through HomeKit or Hue switches and buttons configured in the Hue app. We're looking at adding discrete light strips and floor lamps, but Hue's prices for light strips are frankly insane, and they're just not as dense or diffused as the budget alternatives. What I'm wondering is if I add a Govee Matter light strip to HomeKit, is it possible for it to work with my existing bulbs in that room without lag etc.? For example, when the Hue lights turn on, turn on the light strip. When the tint lights turn a certain color, ask the light strip to do the same. Anyone with a multi-brand setup able to advise on a perfect setup? I'm guessing I'll have to reconfigure my shade switches in HomeKit for best compatibility?
