So I have a bedroom extension where the floor drops down about 4 inches lower than the rest of the house and the entryway to it is about 3 feet wide. I'm looking for a short homekit compatible light strip or bar that mounts vertically but points downward and that I can set to turn fade on and off with a light sensor.
I understand these are probably two separate devices so I'm open to suggestions for both.
I also have homebridge set up and I noticed I can expose the lux sensors on my winix air purifiers and use that as a light sensor to toggle the night light. And also open to homebridge compatible solutions for the light strip. But I've been having trouble with latency on tuya compatible devices when controlling them with a philips hue remote set to scenes in the home app. So trying my best to look for homekit native devices this go around and avoid the lag issue.
So yeah looking for a short homekit light strip and light sensor I can program to work together.
