Looking for advice - refurb iPad 5th gen

Cupertino, October 5, 2021

Good Day All -
my current home is setup as follows

1. Main account - this is a random account I created. lets call it [internet.family@icloud.com](mailto:internet.family@icloud.com)
2. My account - [mr.internet@icloud.com](mailto:mr.internet@icloud.com)
3. Spouse account - [mrs.internet@icloud.com](mailto:mrs.internet@icloud.com)

We have 4 Apple TV's and 4 HomePod mini's.
The rest of the I devices do not really matter for this conversation.

Because my home account does not have a device per say, i.e. iPhone or iPad. does it make sense to get a 5th gen iPad 32gb just to deal with admin of adding devices etc and potentially mounting it on the wall? refurb from apple its $229

also has anyone else taken this route where they have a parent account / main account to coordinate the apple home and then keep the personal accounts connected via family share?
