I say homekit-ish because I'm open at homebridge / homeassistant. I'm trying to help my dad. receives notifications on the current front and rear doors (bluetooth), but never knows who is coming / going. hopefully individual codes could help / correct this. it would be great if the new locks were wifi (he really likes schlage coding, but i told him i'll have to put something else up for them to work (homebridge)). thank you for the advice!
