Hi! I plan to set up 8 PoE 4K security cameras. I found out that there are a few companies to choose from, but I still haven't decided which way to go. I know 4K isn't currently available in HomeKit, but I just use HomeKit as a quick and dirty way to search for my cameras anyway. So the requirements I need are: 8 cameras with PoE, a hard drive that records 24/7 and not only for motion, 4K and HKSV compatible. All together is not possible so my favorite at the moment is the Reolink NVR and will use Scrypted on an RPi to bring them into HomeKit. What do you think of this idea? Is Rasperry capable of handling 8 4K cameras? Is there a better way to do this? What do you think, I'm listening :)
