Phillips Hue's exterior system looks great, but it is not flexible, it can only use their things and expensive.
Just get a "Dumb" transformer and plug it into an external homeekit plug.
I would love to have a transformer on the shelf that is compatible with omekit and provides darkness. I don't know if he has anything in the works.
