Perfect for string lights on your patio, front yard Christmas lights, accent spotlights or outdoor fixtures, the Outdoor Smart Plug Box is equipped with an IP65 rating and a solid construction for strong water and dust resistance throughout during the year. It has a male power cord on one side and a female power cord that comes out on the other side, with the electronics between them. There is an illuminated button in the center for physical control of the plug.

The smart plug can be controlled via the Lutron app, as well as with the Apple HomeKit, although it requires the Lutron Smart Bridge Box. Users can also choose to turn the plug on or off with a Lutron remote control for easy control inside.

In addition to HomeKit, it will also work with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Ring.
