I was playing in the Lutron app to see how SONOS speakers are set up on a pico remote control when I noticed that every fan I connected to my smart Bond home transmitter is available for in-app control and can also be assigned pico remotes as well. I never thought I would be able to control these fans (DC Motors with wireless receivers) using proper wall fan control, but this is a pleasant surprise.
Does anyone know how this happens? I'm not sure if it's a feature of the Lutron app, the Bond device, or if it's unique to the homebridge plug-in that allows the Bond device to connect to the HomeKit. None of the other HomeKit devices appear in the Lutron app, including other devices we've programmed to work with Bond.
