Lutron Caseta wireless smart fan speed control, single pole, PD-FSQN-WH questions

Cupertino, October 17, 2019

As I wandered into a homekit world (got my first unit yesterday, tomorrow I pick up the ecobee yay), I would start transforming my room into a smart space.

My room has two wall plates with on / off switches one to control the fan and one to the light in the fan. If I had to buy this witch, would I be able to control the fan speed? do you just set it to max and the switch works with voltage?

I'm curious to see how and if this would work? The fan is a traditional 3-speed fan that has a small chain that I pull to change the fan speed. If this doesn't work ok with just buying a smart on / off switch, you should.

Thanks in advance and sorry for the spelling (English is not my first language).
