So I have string lights on the patio that I want to control with omekit, but they can also be reduced.
At the moment I have a wall switch that controls an outdoor light for the terrace. If I were to add Lutron smart dimmer inside, is it possible to convert the connected outside light into a socket and once I have connected the string lights they need to be controlled? Is it possible to control the lights that are connected to the socket that is connected to the dimmer ??
I thought about connecting the hardwires to the switch, but that won't be in the code. I was thinking then of just making the outside light into a smart outlet, but it won't be dark.
Anyone have options for outdoor string lights activated for the home, which can be reduced?
