Mac as an AirPlay device?

Cupertino, April 26, 2020

Does anyone know of a solution (probably a third-party app?) That allows you to add a Mac as a Homekit AirPlay speaker / device?

I have an iMac in my home office. When I work in the office, I will often play music (through attached speakers) that I can then obviously stream to my HomePod in the living room, Sonos in the kitchen, AirPlay compatible receiver in the TV room, and so on. .

It would be great if I could do the opposite and play music on the iMac speakers on the HomePod while I play music all over the house. Basically, it would have added a music area to my HomeKit ecosystem without having to buy a separate AirPlay device for that room.

Any idea?
