Meross and HomePod mini

Cupertino, November 6, 2021

I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this "bug" that I recently discovered. I noticed tonight that my mini HomePod was having problems with my Meross smart switches (model mss510x) all over my house. It takes about 25 seconds to turn a switch on or off. And Siri says "one second ... the bathroom lights (or any switch name) take a long time to respond." In comparison, it takes less than 2 for my hue lights to go out or turn on. I'm tired of Siri on my phone, the controls of my home application on my iPhone or even Siri on my Apple TV remote (fourth generation) and they all don't seem to have any pain when I quickly turn on / off the Meross switches. Also, the lowest wifi signal strength for my Meross switches is 91%. I checked the firmware for meross and HomePod mini, both current. I reset my HomePod mini and even reset my Apple TV, because it's my connected "hub" and I'm still scratching myself. The mini seems to work normally differently, so I guess the problem is between the mini and the meross communicating with each other. Anyway any perspective or help would be greatly appreciated!
