I just bought and installed the Meross MSG200 HomeKit version.
It supports up to 3 garage doors. I have one.
Anyway I installed and successfully connected to HomeKit.
But it showed 3 garage doors and when I ask to open the garage door, it pops up asking which one of the three.
So I’m my wisdom I went to the Meross app and what I thought was a way to remove the other two, it ended up deleted all of them. (Sigh). It was gone everywhere. So I reset the Meross device, restarted my iPhone/HomeKit. Reboot the router. After failed attempts.
So I have basically reset and restarted everything I could. It simply will not connect back up.
I have tried every thing they mentioned restarting connecting.
I tried using the Meross app, HomeKit method and no HomeKit method. Nothing. I tried using HomeKit to art the device. Scanned the QR code. Then I tried entering the numbers manually. It seems to see it available but it will not connect.
I even see it in the Wi-Fi setting saying set up device. I click it and it has me scan the code again. But it fails.
I had one encouraging message saying connecting to the bridge. But then that failed with the same error message.
I’m lost as what else I could try.
Oh yeah I been turned off 5 ghz but that only messed my network up.
Anyway as I said it did connect successfully first time. But now it won’t. Is there a hidden cache I am not a where of to totally remove the Meross instance. 🙁
