Meross smart sockets lose their connection

Cupertino, December 18, 2021

I bought a pair of smart Meross mini sockets a few weeks ago to carry the festive lights around the house. I originally used a few TP-links HS110 a few years ago that are solid. All were reused elsewhere in the house. I bought the Meross ones, set them both up in HomeKit, and they both work for that day. Next morning; they both show no answer. Siri can't control them and Alexa can't control them. Looks like I need to reset the factory and reconfigure each one again. I won't do that every day. I use a wifi deco M5 mesh system throughout the house, which transmits 2.4 and 5 GHz on the same ssid, which I suspect could be the problem. Has anyone had this problem before?
