Meross switch troubleshooting question

Cupertino, October 10, 2020

Edit: you just grouped it with the rest of the neutrals and it works.

~~ To start, I replaced a forward switch using a Lutron dimmer switch.

He bought a Homekit switch for a single Meross survey. It goes in a place with three switches (outside, kitchen, hall). This is to replace the outside light.

I removed the switches (all so I could get to the neutral wire pack in the back). You disconnected the outer switch, took the wire from the top of the box and connected it to the switch, connected the line to the next switch. I took the neutral wire pack and picked up the one coming from the leftmost switch (the outer one) and connected it to the switch. There is no ground wire, so I left it hanging.

Turn on the power. The kitchen and hall lights work as expected. The Meross switch does not. without power. No flashing light as expected.

Am I in the wrong neutral? Can I pack it with all the other neutrals? Will this cause a problem?

Do I need land?

I'm taking a break. My plan is to replace the switch elsewhere, which is in its box, so that there is only one neutral. See if the switch works in a simpler box. ~~
