I have an EufyCam Indoor Pan / Tilt 2K in HomeKit and I tried to use the built-in motion sensor for a Home automation application that turns on a light when the motion sensor detects motion. Both the cam / motion sensor and the light are in my input. Automation worked - but too well. The movement triggered the light, but the EufyCam motion sensor considers the state of change of the power of the light itself as movement. This created a start and stop loop. I set the light to stay on for 5 minutes after the motion was detected, but as soon as the 5 minutes passed and the light went out, the motion sensor was then triggered by the light off and will run the automation again and again, endlessly. I've disabled this automation since then, but I'm wondering if anyone can give suggestions on how to work.
