Moving a Homepod with one foot can change everything

Cupertino, March 16, 2020

Radio signals are sometimes a mysterious thing. I had a problem with repeated notifications about past events, even a few hours after they happened. Someone suggested to me that it might be because I had two hubs (two Homepods). It made me realize that sometimes HomePod also has problems with the controls. We configured the network monitor to alert you if it is disconnected and has been disconnected dozens of times all day. I moved it by 12-18 "on the same shelf and ... the problem is gone! That room has great WiFi coverage, but that specific place seemed to be somewhat shaded.

Apparently, when HK devices change hubs, the hub sends back previous notifications. I guess when connecting and disconnecting, it would resubmit previous notifications.
