I have seen many old posts but did not get a definitive answer to my question. I've had a Liftmaster GDO with a MyQ hub connected for years. I recently purchased a Homebridge to create the Homekit. I put Home Bridge together with my existing MyQ hub. The MyQ app works as it always did, but Homekit has really only worked a few times out of many attempts.
The final answer I am looking for, do I just need to create Home Bridge by itself and uninstall my old MyQ hub? Will it still work with both the MyQ app as well as Homekit? Or is my current installation of hub + Home Brige the right method? Thank you.
