**Summary**

I entered the Nanoleaf Canvas review with an open mind because of already formed opinion about the design of Canvas looks cheap and the 80's disco. Unfortunately, this has not changed with having them in my home. Nanoleaf Canvas seems to be inexpensive and sticky when compared to other smart lighting products on the market at the moment.

This leads me to my other problem with Nanoleaf Canvas, they are not cheap for what you get in the package. A starter kit starts at £ 179 / $ 249 for only 9 panels, and you can't really do much about design. Then an extra 4 panels are £ 70 / $ 90, giving you a little more design options.

But to get anywhere near the promo shots found on the Nanoleaf website, spend at least £ 600 / $ 750. It's a huge amount of money to splurge on smart lighting that looks cheap.

But that's said, it's not too bad with Nanoleaf Canvas. The installation is very easy with setup with your smartphone. The app is feature rich and gives you some advanced options. I also liked the advanced paintings and the ability to gain more control over the color and panels.

The bottom line for Nanoleaf Canvas, if you are looking for the 80s looking in your living room, this could be a good option. But be prepared to spend the money to get the design you need.
