Nanoleaf or Philips Hue?

Cupertino, January 31, 2021

I'm not sure if this is the right sub (please point me in the right direction, if so!) I'm looking to buy some nanoleaf bulbs and light strips at my home office. I choose them as an alternative to Philips Hue, mainly due to the expensive nature of the Hue range. Are they similar in terms of capabilities or is Hue worth the extra money? I like that Hue has "scenes" that you can set, maybe nanoleaf to do that too? I've seen conflicting reviews. Also for UK readers. Does anyone know if / when Apple or other places will replenish Nanoleaf? He's been exhausted for a while and my money is burning a hole in my pocket.
