Nashville SC is only six weeks away from their inaugural MLS game and we now know what shirts they will wear for the Atlanta United occasion (Saturday, February 29, at 8 pm ET on FOX).
The 2020 expansion club unveiled its home kit for Forever Gold on Saturday at a local unit in Nashville, where they also introduced the full team to supporters for the first time before launching in the preseason.
The shirt design presents the colors of the club's badge – "electric gold" with an "acoustic blue". In addition to the ridge above the heart, the shirt partner "Renasant" is presented in front with blue letters.
The inner band of the neck of the shirt is designed as a repeated pattern that displays "N" in the club logo for a sound wave appearance.
And the primary "jock tag" (photo below) is a nod to Tennessee, with the arrangement of the Tennessee state flag representing the three major divisions in Tennessee: East Tennessee, Middle Tennessee and West Tennessee.
