NEED HELP iPad will not connect

Cupertino, January 31, 2021

I tried to connect my iPad to my Roku TV and every time it said that HomeKit could not connect or that there was some kind of error, I tried it three times in a row and then activated "quick start" or anything else to help the page tells me and still nothing. I didn't know if anyone had the same problem or knew how to fix it. EDIT: I disconnected the TV and connected it to the house. I'm now trying to screen a mirror on a safari video and it just brings me to the HomeKit setup page and when I go through it all it says is "reset HomeKit", I tried it and reconnected my device, but every time I I connect to the TV or try to play the video while it is connected, it only goes to the HomeKit screen on my TV
