Need tips on automating sprinklers to keep animals out of the vegetable garden

Cupertino, March 27, 2024

Background: I have a vegetable garden that needs protection from neighborhood cats and sometimes possums. They trample the new vegetable plants and break them up to use the raised garden bed as a litter box. I'm familiar with the Orbit Yard Enforcer, but I'd have to put it in an awkward spot because of the L-shaped garden that's in a corner. Question: This makes me wonder if Eve Motion sensors coupled with an Eve Aqua controlling a couple of cheap sprinklers would do the trick. I know it would be a little more expensive than a Yard Enforcer, but I wouldn't mind moving it around to cut grass and stuff. I also have a Eufy 2c that could be added to HomeKit. Would it act as a reliable motion sensor that could activate Eve Aqua when triggered? Thanks for any advice!
