Need to set up a second Apple TV as a Home hub to extend Bluetooth?

Cupertino, May 30, 2021

Hi, I just bought the new ATV and I want to move the old one to my garage so that the 2 Eve door sensors work more safely. Right now I'm using an old iPad to connect to it, but the iPad tends to disconnect from wifi. I recently read that multiple home hubs can be problematic. Is it still true? If so, here's my question - is it good enough for the second Apple TV to be connected to the same iCloud account, or do I need to set it up as a home hub for it to work as a Bluetooth extender?
