Netatmo Doorbell USB port

Cupertino, March 15, 2021

I got my hands on today's ringtone from Amazon UK. The micro USB port is filled with a kind of silicone sealing material. There is also no USB cable in the box or the USB entry in the instruction manual. Has anyone ever experienced the same thing? Should I take this as a sign Netatmo doesn't want me to use the USB port or will it be good to scrape the silicone and use the USB port? I'm a little frustrated here because I wanted to use USB for initial setup and positioning.
