New for the smart home - Look for a lightweight strip for large areas

Cupertino, April 9, 2021

We are currently an Apple family with iPads, McBooks and iPhones. I would like to continue this path and use HomeKit, although I also have Amazon Echo at home. & # x200B; I will have to buy the following: -light strips -outdoor lock -indoor room My biggest concern is light strips. This new apartment will have a total of 2 areas of about 300 meters. The living room is an area, about 35mts. The light strips will be for the ceiling. The living / dining room is the second area with about 70mts. So we look at over 300 meters. The Nanoleaf light strip, which is natively compatible with the HomeKit, is not cheap at $ 50 for just 6 ft. So I think I'll go buy the 4th generation Echo, which has Zigbee support. Can anyone recommend which light strip to fit for such a large area? My goal is to use a hub that supports Zigbee or Apple HomePod Mini, which supports wire (but not many light strips are available for this protocol, except for Nanoleaf, which is expensive). & # x200B; Thanks for any help.
