Here is a list and please tell me what you think or experience. I'd love to stay away from Amazon stuff like Eero and the ring. I don't have a very good reason, I just don't like Amazon at the moment. change your mind if you want, just a warning. 1: internet: I was looking at the sys link, but what is a good quality router / modem that integrates well with Apple and HomeKit? I'm planning to add smart switches and stuff like that, not just light bulbs, so I'll put some hubs that fit in the end. 2: There are 2 ring chambers; a bell and a light / rear camera. I initially looked at the Logitech bell, but is there a good light / rear camera? I guess I could replace it with a regular back light. I like the idea of ​​wired rooms vs wifi. but what do I know ?! 3: there are 2 wired security cameras that go to a DVR or similar (I didn't have much time to watch it). Is there any way to connect it to HKSV at least to watch it live if I want to? I was going to keep the recording device, but I'd like to be able to see it on my phone or computer if needed. 4: There is a gas fireplace in the basement with a basic thermostat mounted on the wall. Is there a thermostat that works with such a simple system? I searched everywhere, but did not find many answers specific to my needs. Anything would be helpful and thank you in advance !!!
