In this week's HomeKit Insider podcast, your hosts discuss Hue floor lamps with gradient drain, Ikea's new HomeKit compatible air purifier, and ongoing Apple TV audio issues affecting users.

Several unique Philips Hue lamps have appeared, this time updated versions of Hue Signe floor lamps. These lamps sit on the floor, casting ambient light into the corners and walls.

The updated version - expected to be called the Hue Gradient Signe - will support more color areas, as will the Hue Gradient light strip for TVs. No release or price is known, but a large version of Hue products seems imminent.

Ikea also announced its first smart air purifier this week, fully supporting Apple HomeKit. There is a stand-alone floor version as well as a built-in version in the body of a table to fit perfectly at home.

We spend the rest of the episode talking about the ongoing sound issues on Apple TV that many users face, and some talk about MagSafe and various household accessories for it.
