I have some Meross white bulbs that are over a year old with few problems. I also had colored ones, but I stopped using them because they were quite unreliable.
I bought 2 packs of 4 newer white Meross bulbs. I first bought a package for a 5 light pendant, thinking I would add one of the old ones. But, the color was very different and they were glitchy when grouped together. I bought a second pack a month ago and put the pendant on. I used the remaining bulbs for two other lighting fixtures.
Two days ago, one of the bulbs in the pendant just stopped responding. Yesterday, I followed the factory reset instructions. I had to do the procedure MANY times to finally get the bulb into setup mode. No matter how many times I reset it and tried to add it to HomeKit, nothing worked.
I gave up and did some research. I will be replacing ALL my Meross builds with Philips HUE despite the HUGE price difference.
