I am looking to make my new house a smart home. I'm interested in light switches (not just light bulbs), thermostat, door locks, etc. I have a flexible budget. I am leaning towards using HomeKit devices since I am pretty deep in the Apple ecosystem. I currently have a piecemeal smart home (Hue, Google Home, Alarm.com, Zwave) but I plan on starting fresh so it can all be on one platform.
Any suggestions on where to get started or devices to look into?
