No native "Toggle" options / functionality in the HomeKit

Cupertino, October 2, 2020

I find it quite strange that there is no feature that allows a single trigger to act as a light on / off switch. If I'm not blind and can't navigate the home app correctly. There must be two different triggers to turn a light on and off. I know that some smart home manufacturers have apps that solve this, but no native media seems weird. Such a simple option should exist. Unless I have a good reason for the absence.

What does everyone think about a single light trigger (or also in the theoretical socket) switches What else do you think is still missing?
