Hi everyone, I'm designing a new house. One of the millions on my list is thermostats, but heating / cooling control in general. I'm passionate about smart devices, but less willing to rely on a third-party cloud (and my internet connection) for my devices to work. I'm also not a big fan of sending my data, if you can help me. For this purpose, I am looking for options for thermostats and control systems that are only local. I will have a relatively strong home network with a full size rack in the basement, so your local computing and storage infrastructure will not be a problem. Any idea? Many thanks in advance.
