Non-scientific Eufy 2K drop test

Cupertino, September 21, 2020

Well, I was setting up one of my brand new Eufy 2K indoor cameras in the window of my garage attic, and managed to drop it. Since the floor consists only of some pieces of plywood installed as an afterthought, there are many gaps—and the camera fell right through one onto the concrete floor ten feet below. After finding all the pieces, I plugged it in and it powered right up. The base is no longer usable, but I was able to make something out of scrap wood and I’m back in business. Either this camera is well-made or I got very lucky. Or maybe a little of both!
