Notifications that drive me crazy - help!

Cupertino, October 28, 2020

So I recently updated the iOS14 version and the latest version of TVOS and since then I've been inundated with notifications that I shouldn't receive. I have several smart locks and they are all set to let me know when any of my exterior doors are locked / unlocked when no one is home. Still ... I'm home. My wife is home. Our phones are in our pockets. And if I go check the mail, I get notifications. If I let the dog out, I get notifications. And it drives me crazy.

I've checked my notification settings for locks in the home app, and they're all ready to notify only if no one is home. I checked that my contact shows the correct address. Does anyone have words of wisdom about the things I can try to fix?
