One of the lights on by motion detection does not go out

Cupertino, September 8, 2020

I have a Fibaro motion sensor in the hallway and set it to trigger a simple HomeKit automation to automatically turn on a Philips Hue bath light and turn it off after 10 minutes, if it's between midnight and 7 in the morning. A separate automation runs between noon and midnight, turning on both the bathroom and the hallway light.

This light is not part of other automations or scenes and we do not control it manually (except for stopping when I wake up ...). The light in the hallway is also controlled by the arrival and departure of the home automation system, although I have not yet seen that loser while I was at home.

So I wake up at 5 in the morning, the light is off. I go to the bathroom and it lights up. I do my job and go back to bed. 10 in the morning, I wake up, I check my phone, the light is still on. This happens almost every day (but sometimes it works magically).

I went to the bathroom around 20:00, both lights on. It's 9:00 pm and I'm in my office at the last minute. The hall light went out correctly. The bathroom light is still on!

Do you have any idea what is going on and how to start finding out the problem?
