I have searched but have not really found anything for a backyard pond. I reckon some can be done with automations, but I can't find the accessories.
Here's what I'm looking for
1. An underwater thermometer that shows me the water temperature on my phone. I can use this to know when to stop feeding fish in winter. Can also use it to light the newspaper when it is below freezing.
2. A device to tell me if my ponds water level falls below a certain point. This would be helpful to tell me if there is a leak or if the pond is caused by an upper part of the water.
3. Wishful thinking here. A device that measures water quality and sends a warning if nitrates, ammonia or nitrites are too high. Could also use this for my indoor aquarium!
Anyway thanks for looking. Eager to hear some ideas. I've already fallen tied to an outdoor switch, and it got me thinking about what else I could automate with my pond.
