Philips Hue Dimmer remote controls

Cupertino, December 3, 2021

I have Philips Hue Dimmer remotes connected to LED strips around my house, these LED strips are not Philips Hue brand, but they are connected to Philips Hue bridge remotes. So I can control every LED strip in my philips hue app because they're connected to the bridge, but in my app homekit doesn't recognize the bands because they're not the philips hue brand, it only recognizes dimmer remotes. This has led to the problem that I can't control the lights with siri or the homekit app at all, because the homekit app only has dimmer remote controls. So can I make the lights work through the connected remote controls so that I can tell Siri to turn off the lights, or do I have to use the philips hue app to change the lights?
