First, nothing is set up yet. It’s all about planning my parents’ new home. The iPad will be the wall-mounted control panel. I’d rather not use a homepod, because I don’t want Siri to talk and listen to them from a ball (they don’t want that either.) However, for the sake of using the Zigbee protocol, etc., I realize that this can be the most efficient configuration. What would be the best option here? There will be a Lutron Cassette bridge between us as we buy the “starter kit”.
