Power plug to trigger other devices

Cupertino, May 18, 2020

I have an electric piano to which I want to add a lightx strip. I was wondering if there are plugs that can measure power consumption on the piano and trigger lightning. So I would have the piano plugged in, and when the piano starts, the plug will feel a higher energy consumption, thus triggering lightning. And when I turn it off, the plug would feel that the energy had dropped, triggering the light. I also want to do this with my TV to use lightning as biased lighting. Does anyone have a clue? TIA
