Problem with locking and home kit since August

Cupertino, November 6, 2021

I have a front door and then carry it about 6 feet in front of it and both have state-of-the-art wifi locks installed. For some reason, when I try to unlock the gate in the homekit, it always says that the device is not accessible and does not work. The August door lock works well, however both August locks work well in the August app via WiFi and Bluetooth on my phone. The weird thing is that when I lock / unlock the gate manually, it syncs the status with the HomeKit perfectly, so the connection works, it only works in one direction. I even tried to connect a HomePod mini right next to the front door, disconnecting all other homepods and homekit hub devices in the house, leaving the front door open so that there was a direct line from the site to the door lock at about 6 ft away from HomePod and try to unlock it, it still doesn't work. Does anyone have any suggestions on what the problem might be and how to make it work? I have several HomePod mini and an Apple TV around the house, as I mentioned and there is no way to tell which HomePod is trying to connect to the August lock via Bluetooth connection. I really thought this was going to be the problem at first, but as I mentioned above, I think I ruled this out by disconnecting any other hubs.
