I have the Schlage Encode Smart Wi-Fi Deadbolt, 3 of them actually. I use two of them in my own home. They have 25% and 40% battery life respectively. Don't give me trouble. The third one I use on my Airbnb property and the battery life is 50% but it gives me all the problems. Sometimes it won't respond, it won't lock automatically, even if I set it, it won't update passcodes... These are just some of the things I've had to deal with. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has dealt with such issues. I can't tell if it's battery or wifi related... My wi has a very strong signal too.
