PSA: Do not remove a 2 eufy base station from the eufy application after it has been connected to the HomeKit.

Cupertino, September 20, 2020

I've had a lot of problems with my Eufy rooms since I received them like a week ago.

I was advised by eufy to remove the base and the cameras from the homekit (which I had already done). Then remove it from the eufy app.

I removed the base station and now I can't add it again. I spoke to them yesterday and they told me that once it's connected to the HomeKit, it's almost stuck there. Solution there: send me a new base station. After further instructions, they said they would see if I could assign a new code to it so I could add it back. Until then, there are no rooms at all.

TL; DR
The Eufy base station cannot even be added to the eufy application after it has been removed. Eufy blames Apple. I don't have cameras that work in any app until I wait for a solution that might or might not buy a new base station.
