So I have my own Apple Home app, I have an Apple TV to automate my Apple Home devices. But now my old man has an iPhone and also a garage door opener – this is his only Apple home device. So, to allow him to use this outside the home, I want to install it on the Apple Home Hub (built into the Apple TV). I tried to share my access to his “house”, this allows me to access his garage door, but it does not give him access to my Apple hub. Do I have to remove the garage door from the device and add it to mine? Or do you need to sign in to your Apple TV account? Although I never watch Apple TV. I read maybe I should share the whole Apple Home with him? So can he access all my light switches and annoy me if he should feel turning them on and off at will ?? Haha? Or you can share devices manually or cameras manually Any and all much appreciated information quite new to this TLDR The main thing is that I want to be able to access my Apple hub at home so that it can access the garage door lock when it leaves the house. He doesn’t care about accessing my other devices at home, I wish I could control the garage door opener.
