Question about sprinklers (Eve Aqua)

Cupertino, January 31, 2021

I took gardening as a hobby and started looking into irrigation systems and saw the Aqua sprinkler attaching to your outdoor faucet or faucet. It's neat and you can use Siri and everything you would expect with a HomeKit device ... BUT Do you have to leave the tap / tap on in the ON position? Isn't the water bill even if the Eve sprinkler is in "don't distribute water" mode? Not to mention that it would be hard, because the water is practically turned on, the sprinkler Eve does not let the water pass. Not to mention, I don't think I've ever had a hose plugged into a pipe that didn't leak like crazy lol. Wouldn't water drain from it? What am I missing? I'm interested, but he's confused. Thanks in advance to anyone who has experience with one and can share their feedback!
