Hey everyone, quick question. I'm in the process of building a house and decided on Homekit for our smart housing platform. From now on, we have ecobee thermostats, eufy room bell, full box switches and front door lock with schlage direction. The last article requires a homeekit hub nearby, so I figured a wall-mounted iPad would serve that purpose and would also be a cool control panel for everything, with it near the front door. It looks like Vidabox is doing some good mounting, so you'll probably get one of these. My question is: how many years can I get out of shopping if it will be used exclusively for this purpose? Do not over-search for this application, but you also do not want to get something that you will need to replace in a year or two. Any input is highly appreciated.
