Question by Lutron Nanoleaf

Cupertino, March 12, 2021

Hey guys, I tried to look up this question for this question and I haven't seen it before. If I had a single Nanoleaf bulb that would be controlled by a single switch. Could I use a smart switch, say a lutron, without a hub just for on / off functionality and rely on the smart features of the HomeKit control bulb? I have nothing against a hub, but I'm not sure it's worth it for a single switch and I just want the on / off functionality. This seems simple and I may be thinking too much, but I'm not sure if this configuration is compatible or would work. Thanks!
